We Are Leaders in Peer & Recovery Coach Training,
 and Family Recovery Support Services

The Recovery Coach & Peer Support Movement is here to stay.

People don't recover in  treatment. They recover in their communities. And Peers and Recovery Coaches can be key in helping to sustain recovery for individuals and for their affected family members. We are proud to lead the charge in NYS by providing the best available training and support in Upstate and Western NY to those aspiring Recovery Coaches and Peer Advocates: Certified Addiction Recovery Coaches (CARC) and Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPA).

We also support those affected by the addiction of a loved one through our private Family Recovery Coaching practice, or in our 'Families Recover Together' group coaching sessions.

Today’s opioid epidemic has brought much attention to a growing health crisis in our country and communities.
It has also brought confusion, despair, frustration, and panic to families struggling to understand the risks,
potential implications, and decisions involved in dealing with addiction.

We are here to help dispel the panic, find solutions, work toward a better tomorrow
and bring compassion and healing today.

  • I came into this class feeling very broken, scared and discouraged. I am leaving with the encouragement and hope that I needed so desperately to feel that there is a light at the end of this tunnel.
    — Sharon Specksgoor - Mom Affected by Loved One’s Addiction
  • The training for 4 days really gave me insight on my future as a Recovery Coach. I can now go on to do great things in my community. Lori D / Keith G you ROC and are awesome.

  • Whether you are in recovery or not, I strongly suggest taking the Recovery Coach Academy for everyone who is connected to addiction and recovery of a loved one. I have learned so much that I feel with more training I can become a great coach.
    — Carol Struble - Robert Giannotti Recovery Academy
  • I have taken many treatment and recovery-based trainings but I am very excited to bring the skills and values I learned in this training back to my practice. Lori and Keith are incredible teachers and I highly recommend this training for Peers and Clinicians.

Family Recovery Services

Families' needs are often neglected in the crisis and chaos of addiction. Parents, spouses, grandparents and friends are often deeply affected and in need of their own recovery support, advocacy, resources and strategies for effectively managing their relationships and boundaries. We are here to offer that support through one-on-one strengths based coaching. We work with individual family members affected by the addiction of a loved one or with individuals seeking to create or sustain their own recovery.

Recovery Coach University (RCU) Facilitators & Trainings are authorized by OASAS and our workshops are approved by ASAP New York Certification Board (NYCB) for CRPA and CARC certifications.
