The evidence is indisputable. Join the Movement.
Many participants attend the recovery coach workshops simply to become more proficient in the skills of a Recovery Coach and more knowledgeable about the Recovery Movement. Others wish to become certified and use their certification as a community volunteer or in private practice (CARC) or by working as a Peer Professional within an agency (CRPA).
In New York State and across the country, there is a tremendous need for Peer Support. And evidence shows that Peer Support increases client engagement in treatment services, and decreases treatment center drop-out rates. Peers are often the link to community based services and support, so vital in early recovery. We hope to help fill and support this need by providing Peer Training and ongoing development support as well as Peer Supervisory Support.
We offer regularly scheduled ‘open enrollment’ classes and are also able to come to your agency, school, or organization to facilitate in-house trainings scheduled at your convenience in consecutive day blocks or spaced across several weeks or months. In-house options can also be combined with other agencies, schools and organizations.
Additionally we have access to other trainings specific to NYS Recovery Coach Certification so please, to learn more, contact us!
