FLPPS (Finger Lakes Performing Provider Services) Monroe NOCN PRIVATE Recovery Coach Training

In an effort to increase the number of qualified Peer Recovery Coaches to effectively impact the Substance Use Disorder crisis in Monroe County, The Finger Lakes Performing Provider System (FLPPS), is looking to sponsor Peers* and/or currently employed service providers in the Monroe County region to participate in the Peer Recovery Coach Training offered by Recovery Coach University.

There will be two training opportunities ("Cohorts") offered through this initiative and slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis with priority given to Peers* in the community.

Please complete the registration below identifying your organization affiliation and if you identify as a 'Peer' or 'Non-Peer' service provider (if both, please check Peer below).  Also select which cohort/dates you prefer to attend (we will do our best to provide you with your preferred cohort/dates.)

Keep in mind that you must commit to the dates provided and attend 100% of the training in order to achieve a certificate of completion.  If you are unable to commit to all 6 dates, 9 - 5 pm, you are not eligible to participate in this training.

Additionally, there is  an expectation that you will participate in follow-up group coaching ('Group Supervision Series') to be scheduled after the training is complete.  You are required to attend all five (2 hour sessions) as part of your commitment to the FLPPS Training Initiative.

*  Peer Recovery Support Specialists are individuals who are in recovery from substance use or co-occurring mental health disorders. Their life experiences and recovery allow them to provide recovery support in such way that others can benefit from their experiences.

** Group Supervision 5 Part Series refers to group coaching provided by training facilitators (also seasoned recovery coaches). It is available to all training participants regardless of organizational role (Peer, Service Provder, Supervisor...)
