Since 2016, Recovery Coach University (RCU) has trained thousands of individuals and organizations who are positively impacting thousands of lives, including their own.
Individuals come to Recovery Coach University (RCU) for a variety of reasons - for certification and employment, to fulfill a passion, turn pain to purpose, to “give back”, to reduce suffering, to share the joy of recovery, help others, address the opioid and addiction epidemic, and many more.
RCU is proud to lead the way in NYS with a growing presence Nationally and Internationally by providing the best available training and support to aspiring Recovery Coaches and Peer Advocates: Certified Addiction Recovery Coaches (CARC) and Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPA-a NYS only Certification).

We’ve grouped our workshops according to popular certifications, renewals, and audiences*. Just click a category to learn more about the workshops offered. All of our workshops are offered individually, so you can put together the combination that meets your needs. All workshops are offered virtually and are open to anyone interested in supporting recovery - in NYS, across the country and internationally!
Most RCU workshops are available for in-house groups of 12 or more.

All RCU courses are ASAP-NYCB approved for CRPA and CARC. They are also OASAS-approved for CASAC, CPP and CPS.
ASAP NYS Social Work CE’s are included with every RCU Certificate of Completion!

Recovery Coach University (RCU) Facilitators & Trainings are authorized by OASAS and our workshops are approved by ASAP New York Certification Board (NYCB) for CRPA and CARC certifications. RCU Trainings are approved through ASAP NYS for Social Work CE’s as well.
